The Fortnite Builder setup adds four remappable rear paddles to your controller and arrives with a recommended control layout built around some of the most frequently accessed actions in Fortnite-style controller gameplay.

Fortnite can require rapid switching between movement, building, editing and interaction controls. With these actions placed on the rear paddles, you can reduce how often your thumbs need to leave the analog sticks.

That means your right thumb may need to move away from the aiming stick whenever you jump, edit or access another action.

The Fortnite Builder layout moves four high-use controls to the rear of the controller, allowing your middle and ring fingers to handle more actions while your thumbs remain focused on movement and aiming.

4 Remappable Rear Paddles

The controller is equipped with a EZ 4-paddle remap system.

Each rear paddle can be assigned to supported controller inputs, giving you four additional locations from which to access the actions you use most frequently.

Normal button remapping can be performed directly from the controller without requiring PC software.

Your controller arrives with the recommended layout already configured, so you can start with a functional setup rather than receiving four unassigned rear paddles.

If your Fortnite button layout is different, you can remap the paddles afterward.
