We replaced our old smoke and carbon monoxide alarms with this single alarm with both functions. We have one upstairs in the hallway and one downstairs in our kitchen. The alarm has testing and voice action telling you which is detected. It is simple to use and instructions are easy understand and decent priced. Its a great product , it gives me peace of mind knowing it’s in our home as an added layer of protection for my family.

Had everything I needed. I started having issues with my detectors going off. They were 10 years old. I looked to replace the units with an exact replacement, but they no longer existed. I found Kidde had this unit but I would need to replace the wiring on the connection. No problem. It came in the box and I was able to replace in seconds. The mounting backets were the same so this made it even easier. Zero stress and I’m good for another 10 years.

Bought as a replacement for the discontinued model, unfortunately the only thing compatible is the mounting plate. Plug does not match so it has to be rewired.
