The FPS Essential setup upgrades your controller with four remappable rear paddles and arrives pre-configured with a practical layout designed for fast-paced shooter gameplay.
Instead of constantly moving your right thumb away from the aiming stick to reach the face buttons, four commonly used actions are moved to the rear of the controller, where they can be activated with your middle or ring fingers.
FPS Essential Recommended Rear Setup
- Left Outer Paddle — Jump
- Right Outer Paddle — Crouch / Slide
- Left Inner Paddle — Reload / Interact
- Right Inner Paddle — Weapon Switch
Keep Your Thumbs on the Sticks
In a standard controller layout, jumping, sliding, reloading or switching weapons can require your thumb to leave the right analog stick.
The FPS Essential layout gives your rear fingers direct access to these actions, helping you maintain more consistent control of movement and aiming during fast gameplay.
