This is a fun mafia-type card game. It is fun for everyone and using the app is easy and also explains each role as you go so you don’t have to reread instructions. I highly recommend it!

This game is so fun! My friends and I couldn’t stop playing it. I love the durability of the pieces (the cards & tokens are really thick). I also love that you can use the phone to help read the story/instructions for each game to help it go smoother. I recommend for a fun night with family and/or friends!

My kids (15 and 12) sucked us into this game. It’s a lot of fun. One round doesn’t take very long. I recommend playing with at least 4 people, but the more the better.

We all love playing this game. We play with the (grown) kids and our grandkids. Would say age range 8+. We recently purchased the add on packs. I was hesitant at spending $25 for this game, but am so happy I did!

This game is incredibly fun. There’s a bit of a learning curve with new players as they aren’t quite sure how to lie yet, but everyone usually catches on pretty quickly. The app and a blu-tooth speaker are almost essential in order to streamline the process and cover up the noise of moving cards. I’d also recommend stopping by a fabric store and buying a yard or so of fleece to use as a mat if you plan on playing on a hard table. Folded up, the fleece will hide pretty much any noise that the background sounds don’t, and it only costs a few dollars. Or you could buy the official game mat for $20 from their website (don’t think it’s worth it really). The variety of roles here seems to work. Nothing is too complicated, though I’ve yet to use the doppelgänger. The upcoming expansion seems like a bit much, but I’m tempted to buy it just too see. Part of the beauty of this game is it’s simplicity. I’d hate to see it ruined with overabundance of unnecessary add-ons.Two downsides to this game, the first being that while it’s okay with 3 or 4 players, it doesn’t get really fun until you have at least five. And some of the roles require even more. It can be difficult for some to get that many people together to play a game. The other problem I had was that the backs of a couple of my cards got a bit damaged after only a dozen or so rounds of play. It wasn’t anything hugely noticeable, but there was some distinctive peeling on a couple of corners. I had to try not look for these things during play. Replacement cards on the website cost $4 each, which seems a bit overpriced considering the whole game here costs less than twenty dollars. $2 or $2.50 would seem like a much more reasonable price. Since I wanted to replace three cards, I just went ahead and bought a whole replacement game when I only needed a werewolf, a troublemaker and a robber. At least now I’ll have some extra replacements if any other cards get damaged. The cards feel sturdy, but I wish they had been sealed a bit better around the edges to prevent this peeling. I may have to consider getting covers, which seems ridiculous for cards that are this stocky.

This game is SO fun. We are obsessed with shows like The Traitors, and this game has that vibe. The cards do wear out pretty quickly, but it’s still totally playable. We have played with 3-6 players so far, and it seems to be more fun with more people. We can’t wait for the next birthday party so we can test this out with a big group. We really like that we can swap out whichever roles we feel like playing at the time.
