In this second expansion to Wingspan, we feature the colorful and awe-inspiring birds of Oceania. The Oceania bird cards are designed to be shuffled into the bird cards from the base game, with or without other expansions. This expansion includes new player mats and a new food type, allowing players to explore different strategies in this new environment. It also includes new bonus cards and more end-of-round goals, as well as a new color of eggs.

My Wife and I adore this game, which we have affectionately taken to calling BIRDGAME! This wonderful game is a machine building game in which you must build your highest scoring world of birds. Birds give you different abilities and functions based on the actual actions the birds do in real life! Score the highest point values and you win the game! The fantastic thing is that while you are technically playing against other players you are essentially playing the game however you feel is best. Want to make some cool moves? Go for it, sometimes that feels as exhilarating as winning the actual game! I was so excited when I saw there were more expansions, to this already wonderful game that I knew I had to surprise my wife with buying all of them all. We love this game because it is one of those very large games that you can play with two player and with friends. The great thing about the gift of a card/board game is that I get to enjoy it too! We love the way this expansion introduces new bird powers as well as a host of new bird visual looks plus it adds some new colors to eggs and player cubes. If you already love wingspan, you will love incorporating some new strategies with these birds as you continue to play such a fantastic game!

The strange (to me) Australian birds in this pack add lots of fun to the game, and include such beloved creatures as the Kiwi as well as a very impressive eagle. New board actions and the wild nectar food add a lot of flexibility when seeking winning strategies, and the new bonus cards mix things up. Highly recommend if you enjoy the base game

We love this expansion. It adds nice fresh content and features. We play this game almost daily and with all of our friends. We also play on consoles and iOS! Two thumbs way up. Can’t wait to get more expansions (and a card shuffler).

It’s an expansion to one of my favorite board games, what’s not to love? Well maybe the baggies that come with it, but I bought an organizer to hold all the expansions in 1 box and I don’t actually use the baggies, so no harm, no foul!
